What is wrong with MUNI

That is what I want to know.
I take MUNI (San Francisco bus system) to work every day. It normally takes me 30 - 45 minutes to get to work. This is OK (I could do it 15 - 20 if I drove) because parking is a pain and I do want to try to save the environment.

Well yesterday it took me and hour and 15 minutes to get to work. I Take one bus then I transfer over to the MUNI light rail (trains). I went down into the tunnel and waited for a train. I can normally get my train in about 5 minutes or so.
Yesterday I waited 10 minutes for ANY train to come by and when it did it was packed and not my train so I did not get on. I then waited 15 more minutes while 7 more trains went by. Finally my train showed up so I got on it. After leaving the station they announced that this train was not going to go to my stop they were heading back early. They got to the last stop and kicked us all off. This took about 10 minutes because many people did not want to get out of the train. One nice thing was there was another train right behind it.

I have lived in San Francisco for 5 years and MUNI keeps raising the rates and lowering the service. The just raised the rate from $1.25 to $1.50 and they cut 3 or 4 bus lines and made the wait longer on all other lines.

I think they are all wrong. In Switzerland there is a town Bern or Basel that was loosing money on the trains so they made the trains come MORE frequently not less just as a test. You know what since the trains we SO!! reliable everyone started using them. It go to the point where a train was always there so the rider ship went through the roof. I think MUNI should try this.

More Trains not less. MORE
